Title: From Separation to Belonging: An Evening with Pastor Kelly Chatman
Date: Monday, April 26th
Time: 6:30PM (in-person in sanctuary or livestreamed)
Description: Kelly Chatman is a Lutheran pastor who has navigated race for nearly 70 years--from childhood to adolescence and throughout his adult life, which includes more than 30 years as an ELCA pastor.
Recently, St. Andrew was honored to be among the first congregations to review and use Pastor Chatman's new book Intercultural Prelude: Stories and Conversations from Separation to Belonging. It offers a series of chapters and discussion questions designed to help readers and congregations get to know their own stories pertaining to race and cultural difference.
Please join us on April 26 at 6:30PM when Pastor Chatman will present his book. Pastor Peter Johnson will facilitate questions. You won't want to miss this timely, thought-provoking discussion.
